Driving Wild

Premieres Friday 20th May 8pm

About the show

In brand new series ‘Driving Wild’, Marc 'Elvis' Priestley, a Formula 1 mechanic for McLaren Racing for 10 years, embarks on a very different kind of international challenge.

Elvis goes back to basics as he immerses himself in extraordinary car cultures across the world. But he’s not just there to watch. Taking his F1 know-how to some of the wildest amateur motorsports on the planet, Priestley works with each motoring group in an attempt to pull off ingenious vehicle modifications in preparation for a series of high-octane driving challenges.

Elvis builds everything – from a Mexican hopper to a Thai long-tail racer. The challenges are daunting, money is limited and time is short. Filming in Sweden, Britain, Mexico, Thailand, Cuba and South Africa where he takes on Car Spinning champions, this is motorsport in the raw.

Will Elvis fall flat on his face, or can he use his unique F1 experience to triumph against the odds?
