Say Yes To The Dress Gown Trends

‘Say Yes to the Dress' returns for a sixteenth sensational season of bouquets, gowns and glamour as more brides begin their search for their perfect wedding dress at the world's premier bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal. This season, we follow Randy Fenoli on his venture back into the world of designing wedding gowns where his career first started. So what are the trends gracing the show this Spring? We’ve pulled together some of the dreamy dress designs, that will make you want to say “Yes to the Dress”!

From crystals, to sequins, to beading and embroidery, embellishment is a key trend for wedding dresses. Why not go for some detailed embroidery like Monica, in her Hayley Paige dress, or perhaps a bold sequin bodice like Marlo is more your style?

If embellishment is not your thing, do not fear, on the flip side, simple and clear cut lines are also in fashion. Carly’s Grecian style dress by Romona Keveza is understated, yet still stylishly elegant.

Whether A-line and densely layered, or floaty and fluid, a tiered skirt can instantly bring a more playful edge to a wedding gown.

The silhouette

Think Hollywood glamour, figure hugging and sleek lines. This sequinned silhouetted dress by Stephen Yearick, worn by Carly, is glamourous and timeless.

Lace panelling

Lace will always have its place in bridal wear, but for an ultra-feminine and more daring look, why not try lace panelling. Val’s dress by Dennis Basso is demure, but still reveals a sneak peak of skin.
